When JLo Met JChrist: An Incredible Drag Brunch Weekend

You can’t swing a dead pussycat wig without hitting a drag queen on her way to lip sync at a brunch in Dallas.

Not that we’re complaining that we have drag brunch options nearly every weekend of the year.

Of course, some are going to be better than others and if you’ve been paying attention for the past few months, we’re infatuated with the shows produced by Liquor Mini.

Whether she’s producing the show, hosting the show, performing in the show (or all of the above), we know we’re in for a tits-out, balls-to-the-wall afternoon of song, dance and mimosas.

Her shows always sell out, so we have to write about them weeks in advance to give you the chance to snatch up tickets.

So, check your calendar for the last weekend in April for two can’t-miss drag brunches, one on Saturday, April 25 and the next on Sunday, April 26.

First up, Liquor Mini will be joined by Von Teese Lauren Ross as co-host, along with Sasha Andrews and Emeka Bless for the Divas Latinas Drag Brunch at The Ivy Tavern. Expect hits from Selena, JLo, Shakira and for the love of God, hopefully some coochie-coochie Charro.

Then, take yourself to church for the “Won’t He Do It” Gospel Drag Brunch at the Terrace in Deep Ellum. That show will be co-hosted by Liquor Mini and RaMaya Lord, with Mo’Nique D. Rockefeller, Liyah Alize and Paris Nicole Davenport taking turns with some high-energy, higher-hair songs of praise.

Get tickets now before they sell out.

Then take your bidi bidi to church the last weekend in April.

We promise it’ll be more fun than going to actual church.
