Yee-Haw! The Turtle Creek Chorale Celebrates Pride, Y’All.

Being proud in Texas is pretty easy in the big cities.

Being proud to be Texan, however, can be very difficult at times.

Leave it to the Turtle Creek Chorale to bring people together to celebrate Texas musicians.

Their Pride As Big As Texas concert series will be especially unique because three of the four performances take place in houses of worship.

The full lineup includes Sunday, May 31 at Temple Emanu-El, Monday, June 1 at the Meyerson, Saturday, June 20 at First Presbyterian Tyler and Friday, June 26 at Broadway Baptist Church Fort Worth.

Get tickets for free with the pay-what-you-wish option for the May 31 and June 26 shows, or as little as $30 for the June 1 show and $20 on June 20.

Expect music from Texas legends, including Willie Nelson, Beyoncé, Kacey Musgraves, Selena, along with choral works from Texas composers Victor Johnson and Marques Garrett. Catch a sneak peek of the music you’ll hear during the concert with Turtle Creek Chorale’s curated playlists at Apple Music and Spotify.

It’ll be a celebratory way to experience Pride Month in Dallas-Fort Worth, so as long as you’re not afraid of catching fire walking into a church or temple, you’ll be golden.
