Last weekend’s first-ever sunset Pride parade in downtown Dallas was one for the books. Other than some sprinkles during the parade, which led to a downpour just after the parde ended, it was perfect.
We’re still on a rainbow high, (and maybe another kind, too), so we’re thrilled to head back to the great outdoors for some more LGBTQ+ community love.
This Saturday, the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden brings back Pride in Bloom for another year of flora, fauna and fabulous fun.
Come for the daytime activities, including a vendor market, the Oak Lawn Band, and pianist Sydney Barber.
Or choose the twilight activities, kicking off at 6:00 p.m. before the sun sets over White Rock Lake. Evening festivities include classic cars on display, and live entertainment from DJ Dezi, Sam Cormier, and George Michael Reborn. The night concludes with a dance party once again featuring DJ Dezi.
Tickets are $26 for non-members and $21 for members of the Arboretum.
Flower power to the people!
