Colonel Mustard In The Arts District With A Drag Queen

For six hours this Friday night, the Dallas Arts District will be hella damn queer.

It’s time once again for the annual PRIDE Block Party, an indoor-outdoor collaboration between the Dallas Museum of Art, Nasher Sculpture Center and the Crow Museum of Asian Art.

From 6:00 p.m. to midnight, enjoy a multitude of free activities, with featured performances including Uptown Players, Bruce Wood Dance Dallas, drag entertainters, Dezi 5, a CinéWilde film screening, drag queen story time and the Round-Up Saloon house dancers.

Dozens of performances and activities pack the schedule of events.

If you want to make it a truly artcentric evening, get tickets to Clue-Live on Stage over at the Winspear Opera House.

The smash hit play based on the 1985 cult favorite has always had a special place in the hearts of gays everywhere. Plus, it’s only 80 minutes with no intermisison, so you can get a much-need air-conditioned break from the outdoor festivities down the street.

It’ll let out just in time to get to the Kiki Ball at the DMA.

And plenty of dancing in the streets.
