Meet Cake, a two-year-old, 45-pound sweetheart with bright eyes, a happy grin and a personality that’s every bit as delightful as her name. Named after the lovable Adventure Time character, Cake is curious, playful and always ready to turn an ordinary day into something worth smiling about.
She approaches the world like every outing is an adventure waiting to happen. A new trail? She’s in. An interesting smell in the backyard? She’ll happily investigate. A toy she hasn’t seen in a while? Suddenly it’s the best thing ever. Cake has an infectious enthusiasm that reminds you to enjoy the little things.
She also has all the right ingredients: curiosity, affection, a playful streak and just enough goofy charm to keep life interesting. Cake loves exploring, but she also knows when it’s time to settle in. After a day of adventures, she’s perfectly happy relaxing with her people, whether that’s on the couch, in the backyard or simply hanging out while you go about your day.
One of Cake’s best qualities is how naturally she fits into whatever life throws your way. She’ll celebrate the good days with you and quietly stick by your side on the tougher ones. She’s affectionate without being clingy, playful without wearing you out and always happy just to be included.
Cake is one of the SPCA of Texas Longtime Lovables, which means she has been waiting more than 60 days and her adoption fee is free.
You can meet Cake any day from noon to 6 p.m. at the SPCA of Texas Jan Rees-Jones Animal Care Center, 2400 Lone Star Drive, Dallas, 75212. She is spayed, microchipped and up to date on her vaccinations.
