Head to the Kit Kat Club by way of The Texas Theatre this Friday.
Cabaret kicks off a six-month CinéWilde at the Texas Theatre season inspired by the 1920s and featuring films of the 20th century that honor queer resistance.
The classic film stars Liza Minnelli and Joel Grey and it’s one that every LGBTQ+ person should see at least once on the big screen.
Tickets are $13.50 ($12.50 for members of The Texas Theatre).
Immediately following the movie, there will be a live cabaret performance featuring local queer artists, so make sure to stick around after the credits.
Life is a cabaret, Minnelli sings, and this just proves it.
