Nothing quite compares to a bawdy burlesque show for a night of T&A-fueled entertainment. Even though we’re not personally into tits and ass quite the same way as some men, burlesque performers have always been our kind of people.
This weekend, one local troupe hits a major milestone.
The Lollie Bombs Burlesque Present: The 20th Anniversary Show takes place this Saturday, August 8, at 8:00 p.m. at Theatre Three.
You’ll be treated to a monumental show filled with burlesque, aerials, magic, clowning, horror, and, as they proclaim, “bad ideas and questionable decisions.”
A dozen current and past performers unite for one night only, along with several special guests.
The cast includes Angi B Lovely, Emma D’Lemma, Honey Sabina, Ickymuffin, Kitty Martini, Krissy Cupcake, Louie Luxxe, Miss Malicious, Phathoms Deep, Scarlette Switches, Roxie Moxie and Willy LaQueue.
Female, male, nonbinary. You name it, you’ll see it onstage, and everyone’s welcome to witness this spectacle two decades in the making.
The Lollie Bombs are the longest-running neo-burlesque troupe in Texas, so that’s reason for celebration alone.
Bring plenty of cash to tip and prepare to be amazed.
And titillated to the point of delirium.
