The original Friday the 13th will always hold a special place in our youthful trauma.
But today, we look back at it so fondly. We can hardly wait until the prequel series, Crystal Lake, debuts this fall.
This Saturday night, the incomperable May May Graves brings her dancers and a live drag show to the Texas Theatre followed by a screening of the 1980 slasher flick that spawned a gazillion sequels and immitators.
Tickets are $20-$24, which gets you the two live performance segments, the movie itself and DJ VideoJuice as the cherry on top.
Unless you consider a slow-motion decapitation a better cherry.
