Not all birthday parties are created equal.
In fact, some are closer to a Vegas show than a mere gathering to watch someone spit on a cake as they blow out a gazillion candles.
Such is the case with tomorrow night’s Kennedy Davenport: Birthday and 30th Anniversary Celebration. Hopefull you’ve already snatched your tickets, but in case you haven’t, you can still get one of the remaining spots, from standing room to seated VIP with cast meet-and-greet.
And what a cast Ms. Davenport has gathered!
The who’s who of RuPaul’s Drag Race, plus a couple of entertainers from Queen of the Universe and The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula.
The event will be hosted by local legends Kelexis Davenport and Miss Wanda, with performances by A’keria C. Davenport, Alexis Mateo, Bosco, Fantasia Royale Gaga, Jasmine Masters, Jazell Barbie Royale, Kylie Sonique Love, Latrice Royale, Mhi’ya Iman Davenport, Trinity K Bonet, Rajah O’Hara and Mia Starr.
A bunch of other guests, including several of Davenport’s drag daughters will be on hand to make this one of the most exciting, star-packed shows to hit the Rose Room in recent memory.
Advance tickets start at $34 for standing room only, $55 for seats, and $189 to add on a cocktail meet-and-greet. If any tickets remain, you can grab one at the door night-of for a slight upcharge.
So, put on your best fashion and come help Kennedy celebrate her impressive career and the day she first appeared in her birthday suit.
(It definitely won’t be the last.)
