Live! From Oak Lawn! It’s A Saturday Festival!

We’ve Palooza’d. We’ve Southwested. We’ve Chella’d.

But this weekend, our beloved gayborhood gets its very own music festival!

The inaugural Oak Lawn Live Musica & Arts Festival premieres this Saturday, September 19. Spanning four city blocks and featuring three different performance stages, the event promises hours of entertainment in the heart of our community.

Experience 21 different acts over the course of the festival.

The Cedar Springs Stage welcomes The Cowgays (pictured above), DAYA, Cure for Paranoia, EMSKI, Dezi 5 & the Tailgaters, Anton Shaw & the Bad Habits and the Women’s Chorus of Dallas.

Over on the Throckmorton Stage, you’ll find Cain Culto, Dan Slater (pictured above), Kameron Ross, Drew G, DJ Memoz and the Oak Lawn Band.

And on the Pride in Dallas Stage, catch sets from Barbie Fartsss, Momenta ft. Rexxha, House of Manchic, Philip Webb, Deluna, Red Eye, Eldian and the Disco Daddies.

Best of all, it’s free to attend. (But you’re welcome and encouraged to donate $20 to help cover costs if you’re so inclined). VIP options ($53.46) with premium stage views, a dedicated lounge and upgraded restrooms, drink tickets and a variety of VIP spaces throughout the venue.

Plus, there’ll be plenty of food, drinks and a variety of merchandise to buy from businesses along the strip, as well as street vendors. Volunteers are needed, too.

Come for a few hours or stay the entire day.

Because the success of this first year only means an even better sophomore outing in 2027.
