Falcon has the face of a heartbreaker and the personality of a sweetheart. Just look at that smile. We are already clearing a spot on the couch.
This 1-year-old Terrier mix weighs 46 pounds and loves being around people. He plays gently, makes friends easily and seems happiest when he can stay close to his humans. Give him a little attention and he will repay you with a happy tail and plenty of affection.
Right now, Falcon needs a calm foster-to-adopt home where he can recover from surgery. He will return to the shelter for a recheck, and the SPCA of Texas will provide his medical care during recovery. Fostering is free: the SPCA provides food, supplies and toys; you provide the love.
If Falcon sounds like your kind of guy, email foster@spca.org and ask about fostering him.
Falcon is also one of the SPCA of Texas’ Longtime Lovables, pets who have spent more than 60 days at the shelter. When he is ready for adoption, his adoption fee will be free.
A soft place to land could make all the difference for this sweet boy. And if things go as Falcon hopes, it might become his forever home.
Falcon is neutered, microchipped and up to date on his vaccines. Meet him at the SPCA of Texas Jan Rees-Jones Animal Care Center, 2400 Lone Star Drive in Dallas, any day of the week from noon to 6 p.m.
