If you haven’t strolled down the strip lately, you may have missed the opening of a new queer bodega called JDLOVE.
The store formerly known as Outlines Menswear quietly changed names and inventory over the summer and after lunch at Hunky’s the other day, we finally popped in.
Packed with hilarious T-shirts, caps, clubwear, clack fans, jewelry, sunglasses, underwear, fetish gear, sex toys, lube, “liquid aromas” and Snickers bars!
We still enjoy walking into a store that has a 21-and-over “behind the curtains” section. Makes us feel naughty in all the right ways.
Like any good bodega, JDLOVE offers a vast variety of merchandise and stays open late (until midnight, Sunday through Thursday, and 2:00 a.m. Friday and Saturday).
We went in to inquire about a website, Facebook page, Instagram or even a MySpace profile to include in this story. Alas, we were told they have none of that, which baffles us in 2025, but that’s all the more reason to seek out this store to make sure it succeeds. We need more gay-owned businesses!
