For years, we’ve been waxing poetic about our fervent desire to hump.
And also, our unwavering love of HUMP!, the film festival from Dan Savage that’s a little pornographic, a whole lot sex positive, queer AF and an indescribable amount of fun.
Sadly, the fest won’t be making a stop in Dallas this year, but with six Austin screenings over a long weekend (Thursday, May 14 to Saturday, May 16), it’s the ideal excuse to pop down to the Texas capital.
The 2026 film lineup includes tantalizing titles such as 2 Dicks, 1 Butt; CUMRAGS (short version); Magic Gloryhole; and Mouth of Desire.
The Austin shows will be hosted by Brigitte Bandit with Sir Maxim taking over emcee duties the final two shows of the weekend.
Tickets are only $31.23 (with all taxes and fees) and screenings will be held at the Hyperreal Film Club.
Of course, you’re going to want a fun place to stay and one of our all-time favorite properties, Hotel Van Zandt, makes an excellent sleeping/humping headquarters while you’re in Austin. It’s in the heart of all the restaurant, bar and nightlife action, and also close enough to Lady Bird Lake for morning walks if you’re not too hung over.
