Time sure flies when we’re being flamboyantly gay!
We’ve crossed over the halfway point of Pride Month and it’s always a little sad to see the end of the rainbow, so to speak.
Fortunately, there’s one last big local Pride celebration in two weekends that will fill up your Pride bucket one last time for the month. Best of all, it’s less than an hour from Dallas and the ideal opportunity to treat yourself to a staycation and explore neighboring Fort Worth.

It’s all part of Trinity Pride Fest 2026 on Saturday, June 27. With multiple events and activities beginning on Thursday, however, you should definitely consider spending an extended weekend in Cowtown.
Festivities kick off Thursday night with Pride Month Drag Bingo at Southside Preservation Hall. Then, the Turtle Creek Chorale’s final Pride As Big as Texas concert on Friday. And things wrap up on Sunday with a cookout at Club Reflection with the Trinity River Bears.
Of course, the tentpole event takes place on Saturday in the heart of Fort Worth’s (official-unofficial) LGBTQ+ district on South Main Street.
Experience a street festival, complete with numerous vendors and access to all the queer-owned and queer-friendly businesses across several blocks. Throughout the night, bars will be hosting live drag performances and other entertainment.
Trinity Pride Fest runs from 6:00 to 11:00 p.m., so much like Dallas Pride’s recent move to sunset hours, it’ll be much cooler than any daytime events in the area. (Thank Baby Jeebus!)

If you’re planning to stay a night or three, check out Le Méridien Fort Worth Downtown.
We stayed there this past April and it’s a fantastic hotel, walkable to tons of stuff (including Trinity Pride Fest if you’re up for about an 18-minute walk or super-quick ride share). Tip: Enter The Bearded Lady as a good drop-off point for your ride share. The streets will be closed in several directions, but it’ll get you in the right area. Plus, we simply adore The Bearded Lady as a super-queer place for food and drink.
In between Pride events, you can hang back at Le Mèridien, cooling off in the sparkling rooftop pool on the sixth floor, or head up even higher to the Annex Rooftop Bar on Floor 14 for incredible craft cocktails and skyline views after dark.

Guest rooms at Le Méridien Fort Worth Downtown are nicely appointed with lots of room to spread out and steam all your Pride outfits.
The beds are insanely comfortable, downtown views are also spectacular and the bathrooms are quite spacious with roomy walk-in showers. We love Le Mèridien’s extra little amenities, including free hot coffee in the lobby each morning, as well as ice-cold bottled water by the front desk all day long. (Trust, you’ll need lots of these!)
Rooms during Trinity Pride Fest weekend start at only $124, too.
Whether you can set aside Thursday to Sunday or only a single night, Trinity Pride Fest weekend marks the best excuse you’ll have all year to head west to fun, friendly Fort Worth.
Yee-haw and all that jazz.
